Vox Pop: Mamfe Central residents’ views on agro-forestry

In August 2013, community members from the villages that make up Mamfe Central sub-division of Manyu division participated in an agro-forestry workshop in Mamfe town. This event was a culmination of months of village sensitization meetings that were conducted by EGI community programs officers. During the workshop, participants identified tree species that are appropriate for their villages. EGI is working together with government agricultural extension officers and foresters to support the correct implementation of agro-forestry. The project is supported by Rufford Foundation.
