Our current strategy focuses on our aspirations to:
- increase local people`s access to life-sustaining natural resources while fostering conservation
- insure that the free and prior informed consent (FPIC) of local communities is sought prior to all development projects in the area and that they do not bear the brunt of development initiatives
- increase the benefits that local communities derive from the exploitation of natural resources and that their environmental rights are respected
