This project aims to make the identified birds of Takamanda better known by developing a guide for use by school eco-clubs in the area and beyond. Moreover, the project will contribute to raising awareness about habitat destruction/fragmentation and ecosystem conservation.
With a grant from ABC, EGI will:
- Enhance the capacity of village communities, especially hunters, to identify protected bird species, and participate in wildlife management and conservation
- Increase awareness and participation of young people in species protection and sustainable environment practices
